Noelle had joined a small pack of dogs that our rescue was attempting to capture (happy to say we ultimately rescued all of them!). These dogs were living in the woods. Noelle was a puppy and was apparently afraid of the other dogs. One of our rescuers was feeding the dogs every day and discovered Noelle, out in the open under a tree, lying there shivering with the cold. She was very happy to be rescued! She is a fabulous dog, people friendly, dog friendly, cat friendly. She is a beautiful... [Read More]

When our rescue happened upon Lola, she was a very sad sight. She had been bred and had not been cared for by her owners. She was emaciated and did not look anything at all like she does now. She has been spayed and has received medical attention, and her foster mom has fattened her up! She is very happy and energetic, and loves people. She appears to be dog friendly .. . . we're not so sure about cats! She will make a loving and wonderful companion.

Winston is a sociable fellow who looks like a big Boston Terrier. Isn’t he a handsome guy? Winston will make a great companion for some lucky family.

Amelia was dropped off at a local barn and we think a breeder may have dumped her. She is very sweet and loving and has been waiting patiently for a long time to find her forever home. She loves to play and to be around people.

One of our rescuers received a call stating a pit bull had shown up in her yard, and if someone didn't come get it right then, her husband was going to shoot it.
Needless to say, we gladly took Cassius in. He was so stocky he reminded us of a boxer, hence the name, Cassius Clay. Cassius has some scars and it is likely his background is a sad one.
Cassius has loved people from the moment we rescued him. He loves attention and is high energy. Very sweet and loving and would make a wonderful co... [Read More]
