One of our rescuers received a call stating a pit bull had shown up in her yard, and if someone didn't come get it right then, her husband was going to shoot it.

Needless to say, we gladly took Cassius in. He was so stocky he reminded us of a boxer, hence the name, Cassius Clay. Cassius has some scars and it is likely his background is a sad one.

Cassius has loved people from the moment we rescued him. He loves attention and is high energy. Very sweet and loving and would make a wonderful companion.
