Siblings and companions including Beau were all rescued by our humane officer in January who was tipped off about this group of breeding dogs who were kept deep in the woods in Charleroi. Beau is one of the last of the bunch. Most of the others have already found their new loving families. And Beau is a real catch ...a diamond that only shines when he is met outside of his cage. Behind the chain link, he can look intimidating and he has so much pent up energy, he never sits still. We offer him kongs as a poor alternative, and you will often see him sporiting the big red rubber kong in his slobbery grin. Once outside, Beau is a true gentleman. He walks nicely, sits patiently while you chat up a visitor and loves affection so much he will sink to the ground and roll on his back, long tongue hanging with a big grin for whoever is scratching his belly. Beau will even fetch and come when called. Don't let this handsome dog languish unloved. He is too lovable to pass by.
