I was having problems getting Kane to gain weight,mostly b/c he is very active. I have changed his dogfood about 5 times since i've had him, b/c either he didn't like it, didn't do well (as far as weight gain), and he has skin allergies that i've got to watch out for too...I've finally found a dog food that has helped him gain weight and keep it on...his skin and coat look sooo much better and he doesn't go potty as much...lol! which means less poop patrol 4 me!
b/c he actually absorbes the nutritiants, and he actually gets full on it....im very happy w/ the results that i've got...and for those of you that have problems like this...its made by "enhance" and hunters edge has from puppy- to senior, dif. categories to suit ur dog...i give kane the "professional athlete" which has more protein and fat for really active dogs...you can either google enhance dog food-or go to arkat.com and go look at the dogfood
