Did anyone read any of Richard F. Stratton's books I wanna get one or two of them but wanna know what the general thoughts on them was

read this book alot of information although i think it was published in the 1900's but info was still relevant in some instances, sort of short but very informative... good read

This volume is written from a dogman's perspective from around the 1910's. It has some (seemingly archaic but insightful) and health discussion and care for the English Bull Terrier and American Pit Bull Terrier. It duscusses various breed standards, had match rules, pictures, and a few stories of famous dogs from the period. It is overall a good read, and worth it because of its historical value.
